As a gift for my Great Grandmother, I painted this picture of a deer from her homeland in Austria. This type of deer is my Great Grandmother's most favorite animal. This painting was fairly simple and enjoyable to work on.

This painting is Ammon's late, late, birthday present. It is entitled "Get Thee Hence" and is a symbolic painting (for those of you who would not have guessed). This painting portrays Michael, the Archangel, having triumphed over and casting Satan, the Great Red Dragon, out of Heaven (See Revelation 12: 3, 7 and 9). I had Ammon pose with a robe and our real samurai sword for this project. I then simply 'tweaked' him on Adobe Photoshop to look like he was a glowing angel. Of course, the Dragon was much harder because there were no dragons here to pose for me! ;D

Here is the latest. This is a 9"x 12" painting I did for my brother Isaiah for his birthday. One day I asked him, "If I could paint you a small picture for your birthday, what would you want it to be?" He told me that he would love a painting of a green gecko. So we found his favorite "green gecko" picture and I painted it for him.

This is the latest of my finished commissioned paintings. I haven't added my signature just yet, but I decided to take a picture and post it anyway.

This painting was for the same person who commissioned me to paint the Hallstatt painting. This was painted from a picture of the Mirabelle Palace in Salzburg, Austria. Shown in the picture is a very small portion of the palace along with the fountain, gardens and the city and fortress in the background. At the moment I don't recall the name of the fortress, but I had toured the inside of it while I was in Austria. This fortress also happens to be the same one as the one filmed on The Sound of Music (or so they tell me- I haven't seen that movie in years).

This is the painting that you've all been waiting for. This is a painting of a Malachite Butterfly. Three people have already insisted that I was lying when I told them that I painted this. Yeah, yeah, I know, I am just terrible, but this painting was painted from the best photograph I have used yet. It's like Del Parson told me several times over, "If you have a bad picture, you'll get a bad painting," Not that any of the past photos I've painted from were bad. They just weren't the best. So, in that sense, this painting has done me great justice.
Also, one reason why people didn't think I painted this was because I scanned it before I signed it.

Again, this is not the picture I was talking about earlier, but it is a recent one. In fact I did it yesterday. This is my Dad's birthday present for today. This is a 5'' x 8'' painting of a Mule Deer, his favorite deer and also his favorite animal.

This is not the painting I was reffering to in a previous post (although this was a Christmas present as well- to my parents). Many of you have probably already seen the older version of this painting back on Sariah's or the family blog. That was back when it had an obnoxious crimson back ground. This is the real thing here (forgive the angle distortion from the camera- straight on pictures have the most glare).
